TCS opting to bat first at Western Railways, Cross Maidan were all out for 91 runs in 27.3 overs. Experienced bowler Rahul Thakur led from the front being the pick of the lot as he returned with impactful bowling figures of 4/14 in 9 overs including 3 maidens. Captain Akshay Girap also chipped in with 2 wkts taking 2/19 in 5 overs.

Western Railways Traffic Sports Club in reply chased down the score easily winning the pre-quarter finals by 5 wkts. Karan Joshi at no.3 anchored the chase with a gritty 44* off 44 balls helping his team cross the victory line in just 22.1 overs.
