Experienced bowler Rahul Thakur led from the front being the pick of the lot as he returned with impactful bowling figures of 4/14 in 9 overs including 3 maidens. Captain Akshay Girap also chipped in with 2 wkts taking 2/19 in 5 overs.

Western Railways Traffic Sports Club in reply chased down the score easily winning the pre-quarter finals by 5 wkts. Karan Joshi at no.3 anchored the chase with a gritty 44* off 44 balls helping his team cross the victory line in just 22.1 overs.
