Prithvi Khakhar makes a comeback with a Century in Bombay Junior Shield’23

Played at Sassanian, Azad Maidan, Mohan Cricket Club after being put to bat first made a total of 333/8 in 45 overs. Opener Prithvi Khakhar who was on a brief pause for some period made a stunning comeback to Mumbai Cricket scoring a brilliant century. Prithvi top scored in the innings scoring 111 off 116 balls smashing 14 boundaries and 1 six. Apart from Prithvi, Azhar Ansari and Nirdosh Yadav at the middle order also chipped in with half centuries.


Sunrise CC in reply were all out for 192 runs courtesy tight bowling by Mohan CC bowlers. Rohit Sawant from Mohan CC was the pick of the lot taking 4/25 in 9 overs including 1 maiden.

Result: Mohan Cricket Club won by 141 runs.
