Prashant Patil shines while Omar smacks an unbeaten 55* in United Patni’s quarter-finals win in C Div MCA Corporate Trophy’24

Lilavati Hospital opting to bat first at Matunga Gymkhana Ground in Mumbai made a total of 117/10 in 25 overs. Most of their batters chipped in with starts but could’nt convert it into something big and forge partnerships. United Patni bowlers did an excellent job with Prashant Patil and Captain Omar Patni leading from the front in the bowling department. Ashwin Shelke with 3/16 and Omar with 3/18 in 4 overs were the pick of the lot while Prashant Patil also contributed well in the match taking 3/25 in 4 overs including a top order wicket of opener Rupesh.

United Patni Industries chased down the score in 19.3 overs winning the quarter finals match and qualifying into the semi-finals of the tournament. Opener Omar Patni led from the front with a match winning 55* off 51 balls which included 5 boundaries and a six while Harshvardhan Pandey scored 27 runs.

Result: United Patni won the match by 5 wkts.
