Pratapgad Royals after being put to bat first at Asthapialu Cricket Ground in Pune made a total of 177/9 in 20 overs. After some early top order wickets, it was Pranav Gaikwad at no.4 who went on to score a match saving half century. Pranav went on to score an impressive 71 off just 43 balls, a counter attacking knock which included 3 fours and 5 sixes at a strike rate of 165.12. From the bowlers, Salil, Hitesh and Safal with 2 wkts each were the pick of the lot.

Lohagad Emperors in reply were all out for just 99 runs in 18.1 overs courtesy a match winning bowling spell by Vimal Hansraj who took 4/5 in 4 overs including a maiden. Vimal’s figures are not only envious but he also took the top 4 top order wickets which made all the difference in the match. Vimal’s spell changed the momentum of the game as Lohagad were cleaned up for 99 runs.
