Prakhar’s 6wkt haul helps MCC Elite whitewash Raju Pathak Cricket Academy in MCC Pro 40 overs league’24

Raju Pathak Cricket Academy Elite batting first at Oval Maidan were all out for 132 runs in 30.3 overs. Opener Akhileshwar with 38 runs was the top scorer while rest of the batters found it difficult to get going. Prakhar Agnihotri from MCC was the star bowler for the day as he returned with exceptional bowling performance to dent RPCA’s batting line up. Prakhar took 6/21 in 8 overs including key top order wickets of Akhileshwar and Ayush putting RPCA team on the backfoot.

MCC Elite in reply chased down the total in just 19.4 overs winning the match by 8 wkts. Captain Anand Tiwari led from the front with an unbeaten half century anchoring the chase. Anand scored 60* off 62 balls while he was well supported by Diyan Kubadia who scored 42 runs off 39 balls.

MCC Red Elite won the match by 8 wkts while Prakhar Agnihotri was declared ‘man of the match”
