Praanav Iyengar’s match winning 109* powers Modern English School by Achievers Cricket Academy to a win in MI Junior U14 Boys Inter School Tournament’24

Modern English School (Chembur) opting to bat first at Bharat CC wicket, Dadar made a total of 246/7 in 40 overs. Even though MES lost some early wickets but it was their reliable batter Praanav Iyengar once again delivering the goods as he anchored the innings with a match winning century. Pranaav scored an unbeaten 109* off 99 balls which included 15 boundaries at a strike rate of 110.10. The rest of the batters batted around Pranaav as MES reached a respectable total on board to defend.

Tarapur Vidyamandir (Palghar) in reply were cleaned up for 99 runs with Vyom, Kavish and Praanav taking 2 wkts each. Praanav also contributed with the ball making it an all-round performance as he took home ‘man of the match’ award helping Modern English School win by 147 runs.
