Essex Lions CC opting to bat first at Chigwell Sports Club Ground made a total of 228 runs in 38.3 overs with half centuries by Hasitha and Mahmudul. From the bowlers, Sakaar Mishra completely turned it around with impactful bowling performance taking 4/51 in 9 overs including key wicket of Hasitha. Rakesh Chowdary also chipped in with 3 wkts including wicket of set batter Mahmudul.

Chasing 235, Spartans CC who have been nothing but a revelation this season continued their purple patch finishing the game off in 43.1 overs winning by 5 wkts.  Parimeet Jadhav who came at no.3 single handedly anchored the chase with a daddy hundred as he went on to score an unbeaten century. Parimeet smashed an aggressive 153* off just 116 balls striking at 132.00 spanking 6 sixes and 12 boundaries, the rest of the batters batted around him as Spartans went home in a super convincing fashion.

This knock not only bagged him Performer of the Match award, but it is also the highest individual score from Spartans Cricket Club so far.
