Opener Abhijeet Rohandiya ton steers Group Satellite Cricket Club to a win in E Div Times Shield’26

Group Satellite Cricket Club batting first at Dadaji Konddev Stadium, Thane made a total of 253/10 in 44.5 overs.  Openers Prajwal and Abhijeet gave a good start putting on 43 runs while Abhijeet went on to score a brilliant century. Abhijeet top scored in the match scoring a fluent knock of 106 runs in 111 balls which included 9 boundaries and 2 sixes.  Abhijeet also stitched an 87run stand for 2nd wicket with Mayank Pilke who scored 39 runs. Nirdosh also chipped in with a handy 31 at the middle order.

Thane Municipal Corporation in reply were all out for 187 runs in 41 overs with Sanket V scoring 71 runs. Group Satellite bowlers did an excellent job with the ball with experienced all-rounder Shamit Shetty being the pick of the lot taking 4/43 in 9 overs while fast bowler Vicky Dulgach taking 2/20 as Group Satellite won the match by 66 runs.
