U13 Homeground Academy Team opting to field first at New Era, Azad Maidan restricted CCI to 94/8 in 20 overs. A Disciplined bowling performance by Homeground team ensured CCI did not cross the 3 digit mark. Aayush Warankar at the middle order was the top scorer with 22 runs off 39 balls while from the bowlers, Yuvraj Merchant with 2/31 in 4 overs was the pick of the lot. Apart from Yuvraj, Mihir, Jaidev and Shaan also bagged a wicket each.
Chasing 99 under scorching heat, the young U13 openers of Homeground Academy showed a lot of composure and stability as both the openers single handedly finished off the game for their team. Shaan Doshi was the highest scorer with 58* off 53 balls smashing 8 boundaries while Ahaan played the anchors role staying unbeaten on 24* off 38 balls.
