Opener Shashank Upadhyay’s 88 steers Kaimur DCA to a win in BCA Senior Men’s Inter District One Day League’24

Bhojpur DCA Senior Team after being put to bat first at Kaimur Cricket Ground made a total of 234/10 in 45 overs with their no.3 batsman Ankit Raj scoring a half century, smashing 78 runs off 81 balls. From the bowlers, Dhanesh Chauhan took 5/29 in 9 overs being the pick of the lot for Kaimur DCA Team.

Chasing 235, opener Shashank Upadhyay set the tone for the chase giving a brilliant start and also stitching with Rahul Chaubey (24 runs) and no.3 batter Gupil Rai (82*). Shashank top scored in the match smashing 88 off 84 balls which included 10 boundaries at a healthy strike rate of 104.75 as Kamur DCA chased down the score in 41.3 overs winning the match by 7 wkts.
