Opener Rudra Dhanday’s stylish 152 steers Railways to a commanding win in BCCI U25 Men’s State A Trophy’22

Team Kerala batting first at Bindra Cricket Stadium posted a healthy total of 331/5 in 50 overs. From Kerala, Shaun Roger scored a unbeaten century while keeper batsman Varun N scored 79 runs off 80 balls. From the Railways bowlers, Adarsh Singh with 3/74 was the pick of the lot.

Chasing 300+ totals in a One Day Game is always challenging but Railways Team made it look easy courtesy a brilliant 238 run stand for 2nd wicket between opener Rudra Dhanday and Sahab Yuvraj Singh. Rudra who is known for his flamboyant strokeplay and solid technique dazzled with a match winning knock of 152 runs in just 141 balls, a knock which oozed maturity and controlled aggression as he smashed 16 boundaries and 1 six. S Yuvraj Singh on the other hand scored 126 off 101 balls as Railways clinched a massive 8 wkt win in BCCI Men’s U25 State A Trophy.
