Opener Rahul Yadav (84) and M Hima (86) steer Xtreme Smashers to a commanding win over United XL

Played at KLR Ground in Hyderabad, Telangana, Xtreme Smashers after being put to bat first were least deterred as they ensured a batting feast putting up 222/9 in 20 overs. Opening the innings, in form batsman Rahul Yadav played a fantastic innings smashing 84 runs off 54 balls smashing 13 fours and a six. Rahul kept on playing his natural game despite wickets tumbling from the other end until M Hima at no.6 came and gave him good support as he scored an equally impressive 86 off 47 balls smashing 9 fours and 6 sixes. Rahul also stitched a record 179 run stand for the 6th wicket with M Hima as the team reached a commanding total.

United XL in reply only managed 188/8 in 20 overs as Xtreme Smashers bowlers did a decent job in restricting the opposition batters.  Xtreme Smashers won the match by 34 runs, K Hima was declared man of the match while it was an equally impactful performance by Rahul Yadav who batted out the 1st half when wickets were falling from the other end.
