Bengal Club batting first at Sportsfield Cricket Club in Mumbai made a total of 174/8 in 40.2 overs. Opener Prithvi Khakhar was the top scorer in the match smashing a well-crafted half century.  The right hander scored a gutsy looking 79 off just 67 balls smashing 10 fours and 2 sixes. Prithvi continued to play his natural game even though batters from the other end found it a bit difficult to get going. Mandar (30 runs) and Rohan (22 runs) at the middle order chipped in with handy cameos.

Sportsfield CC in reply were all out for 117 runs in 47.2 overs courtesy a brilliant fifer by Manas Chavan. Prithvi also chipped in with the ball bowling 4 maidens in his spell of 5 overs conceding only 6 runs as Bengal Club defeated Sportsfield CC on their own turf by 57 runs.
