Opener Mehul Rathod’s unbeaten half century anchors Rajgad Raje to a convincing win in 2N Designers Premier League Season 3

Raigad Pioneers after being put to bat first at Asthapailu Cricket Ground in Pune made a total of 132/8 in 20 overs. Mangesh Hande at no.4 was the highest scorer with 37 runs while from the bowlers, Vedant Gidaye with 2/19 in 4 overs was the pick of the lot. It was a combined bowling effort where every bowler chipped in with a wicket.

Chasing 133, Opener Mehul Rathod set the tone with his counter attacking display of batting as he anchored the chase with a blazing half century. Mehul went on to score a match winning 65* off 48 balls which included 8 boundaries and 2 sixes at a strike rate of 135.42. The rest of the batters batted around him with Aditya Durgade (13* runs) at no.6 standing besides Mehul to seal of the chase in the 2nd last over.
