Opener Kaushal Valsangkar contributes in MIG’s Crucial win with a Century in Purshottam Shield’22

Played at MIG CC Ground in Mumbai, MIG CC after being put to bat first posted a massive total of 358/3 in 45 overs. MIG completely dominated the bowlers on their homeground with their in-form opener Kaushal Valsangkar scoring a brilliant century. Kaushal who got dismissed in 90’s in his previous outing continued his healthy vein of form this time reaching the much deserved milestone scoring a solid looking 110 off 111 balls which included 11 fours and 1 six.  Kaushal also stitched a crucial partnership with Pragnesh Kanpillewar who scored 64 runs at no.3. Atharva Ankolekar who came at no.4 was the top scorer as he scored an entertaining innings of 116* in mere 67 balls which included 13 boundaries and 3 sixes.

Mumbai Police Gymkhana in reply were cleaned up for 203 runs in 36 overs with Gaurav Jathar (3 wkts) and Aashay Palkar (2 wkts) being the pick of the lot for MIG as they won the match by 155 runs.
