Cricket Club of India after being put to bat first at the iconic Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai made a total of 276/10 in 65.2 overs. Opener Akhil Herwadkar who scored a match winning hundred in the quarter finals continued his fine form scoring yet another important knock for CCI at the top of the order. Akhil smashed a solid 53 off 51 balls smashing 10 boundaries while also stitching a partnership with no.3 batsman Aakash Anand who scored 72 runs. Saksham Parashar at the middle order remained unbeaten on 75* off 97 balls.
Parsee Gymkhana in reply were cleaned up for 136 runs as experienced bowlers Badrey Alam (4/57) and Vaibhav Mali (3/12) ran through the opposition’s batting line up with dominance. With this, Parsee Gymkhana won the match by 140 runs and qualify for the finals of Young Comrade Tournament.
