Sinhagad Lions after being put to bat first at Brilliants Academy Ground in Pune made a total of 163/8 in 20 overs. Wicket-keeper opening batsman Aditya Kale top scored in the match with a brilliant half century. Even though wickets were falling from one end, Kale held fort and stitched a crucial innings of 78 runs in 53 balls which included as many as 6 sixes at a strike rate of 147.17. Captain Abhishek Dave lent the finishing touch down the order with an unbeaten 17* as Sinhagad reached a respectable total on board. From the bowlers, Captain Jagdish Sure with 3 wkts was the pick of the lot.
Shivneri Warriors in reply were neck to neck giving a tough fight where the match remained a thriller till the very last ball. Opener Koshish scored 40 runs while Abhishek at middle order scored 31 runs. Pranay Ranka and Tahir Shaikh with 2wkts each were the pick of the lot as Shivneri Warriors fell just one run short in the final over getting all out for 162 runs
