Opener Aayush Ambekar’s unbeaten half century steers PJ Hindu Gymkhana to a win in Dream XI Vengsarkar U16 Cup’24

Ageas Federal Vengsarkar Cricket Academy opting to bat first at Dream XI DVCA Oval Ground in Mumbai made a total of 159/10 in 29.1 overs. Opener Dhiraj Raut scored a half century while rest of the batters found it difficult to get going. From the bowlers, Lokesh Mistry was the pick of the lot taking 5/34 in 7 overs. Apart from Lokesh, Prem, Om and Aarya Sagare also bagged a wicket each.

PJ Hindu Gymkhana in reply chased down the score in just 20.2 overs winning the match in a commanding fashion. Opener Aayush Ambekar anchored the chase with a brilliant half century as he scored 55* off 68 balls which included 7 boundaries. Aayush was well supported by Tirth (27 runs) and Lokesh (40*) as PJ Hindu Gymkhana won the match by 9 wkts.
