Om Bangar 91 steers MCC Santacruz to a win over NBEE Sports Club in MCC U16 Talent Search Tournament’25

MCC Santacruz A opting to bat first at Oval Maidan in Mumbai made a total of 259/9 in 40 overs. MCC Santacruz A lost their openers early but it was Om Bangar who held fort from one end to take his team towards a respectable total. Om scored a quick 91 off 64 balls which included 12 boundaries while stitched crucial partnerships with Devashish (39 runs) and Abhijeet (20 runs). Ravikishan Singh at the middle order also smashed a crucial half century smashing 55 off 50 balls.

NBEE Sports Club in reply were bundled out for 70 runs in just 22 overs with Captain Anand Tiwari leading from the front taking 3/4 in 2 overs including a maiden. MCC Santacruz won the match by 189 runs, Om Bangar declared ‘man of the match”
