Nishanth’s 45 ball 87 at the middle order steers Super Smashers to a win in Rising Cup Season 42

Super Smashers after being put to bat first at New Madies Ground 2 in Hyderabad, Telangana made a total of 200/8 in 20 overs. Opener Mohammad Shakeer gave a flying start scoring 52 off 28 balls, however with scoreboard reading 39/3 at the end of the powerplay, it required someone to take the game from there on and Nishanth Yadav coming at no.5 perfectly did that as he went on to score a match winning knock of 87 runs in mere 45 balls. Nishanth plonked 7 fours and 6 sixes striking at 193.33 taking his team from 39/3 in 6 overs to a fighting total of 200!

New Madies Strikers in reply were all out for 109 runs in 14.4 overs with Karthikeya bagging 6 wkts for 28 runs in 3.4 overs. Super Smashers won the match by 91 runs while it was certainly Nishanth and Kartikeya who proved to be the standout performers in the match.
