Nishanth Yadav’s 73 steers Bayhills CC to a Semi Finals win in Sun Premier League Season 7

Boxer Blues opting to bat first at SR Cricket Ground in Hyderabad, Telangana made a total of 157/7 in 20 overs. Abu Sufyan and Nirnay at the middle order chipped in with 35 and 44 while rest of the batters found it difficult to get going. From the bowlers, Captain Subrat with 3/7 in 4 overs was the pick of the lot.

Bayhills Cricket Club in reply chased down the score with ease winning the match by 7 wkts and 2 overs to spare. Even though Bayhills lost quick wickets with scoreboard reading 1/3 at one stage, they got back into the game with a match winning stand of 157 runs between Srikanth (67 off 50 balls) and Nishanth Yadav. Nishanth Yadav who came at no.5 turned things around scoring 73* off just 50 balls which included 9 fours and a six at a strike rate of 146.00.

Hyderabad Senior Team Probables Nishanth who has a stunning batting average of 61.52 with over 14,000 runs in Division Cricket continues to make a strong case for himself.

Result: Bayhills CC won by 7 wkts, Srikanth N for his all-round show was declared “man of the match”
