Nikhil Chhatria’s All-Round Show of 108* & 5 wkts helps 22 Yards C.A win in SGVP Trophy’22

Gandhinagar Sports Academy after being put to bat first at SGVP Sports Ground in Ahmedabad made a total of 163/8 in 30 overs. Opener Viraj Thakor top scored with 99* missing out on a well deserved hundred while rest of the batters found it difficult to get going courtesy 22 Yards Cricket Academy’s all-rounder Nikhil Chhatria. Nikhil was simply impressive with the ball providing crucial top and middle order breakthroughs as he returned with excellent bowling figures of 5/36 in 6 overs.

22 Yards Cricket Academy also made chase look like a cakewalk winning the match by 10 wkts and 9.1 overs to spare. Nikhil Chattria who earlier impressed with the ball also opened the innings and completely owned the match and took the chase in his hands as he went on to score a match winning 108* off 61 balls. Nikhil smashed 17 boundaries and 2 sixes while he was well supported by his opening partner Darsh (49*) who batted with him till the end of the chase.

Result: 22 Yards Academy won by 10 wkts, Nikhil Chhatria declared ‘man of the match’
