Nayan Bhansali’s all-round show steers Torna Tigers to a win in 2N Designers Premier League Season 3

Torna Tigers opting to bat first at Asthapailu Cricket Ground in Pune made a total of 126/8 in 20 overs with all the top 5 batters chipping in with starts.  Sumeet Patil with 28 runs at no.5 was the highest scorer while Nayan Bhansali with 24 runs at no.3 was the 2nd highest scorer.  Rajgad Raje bowlers kept it tight not allowing the batters to let loose with all-rounder Nikhil Jain being the pick of the lot taking 2/25 in 4 overs.

Chasing 126, Rajgad Raje received a tough fight from the opposition team as they were restricted to 95 runs all out in 18 overs. Captain Mehul Rathod with 23 runs at the middle order was the highest scorer while rest of the players found it a bit difficult to get going. Nayan Bhansali bowled a fabulous spell taking 3/9 in 4 overs which made all the difference while defending a modest total of 126 runs. Nayan was not only super economical but also took wickets at regular intervals alongwith Ganesh who took 2 wkts as Torna Tigers won the match by 31 runs.
