naveen swargam

Apex Cricket Club batting first at Champions Cricket Ground in Keesrara made a total of 168/10 in 65.1 overs. Sportive CC bowlers did an excellent job of restricting the opposition to a low total courtesy their left arm orthodox spinner Naveen Swargam who ran through Apex’s Batting Line up. Naveen returned with match winning bowling figures of 5/36 in 26.1 overs impressing one and all with his brilliant spin bowling. What’s more, Naveen bowled as many as 15 maidens bowling at an astounding economy of 1.38!

Sportive CC in reply scored 187/8 in 58.2 overs taking a first innings lead over Apex. Their opener MD Liakath Hussain scored an impressive century even when wickets were tumbling from the other end.

Result: Sportive CC won on 1st innings lead.
