Payyade Sports Club after being put to bat first at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai made a massive total of 249/3 in 20 overs. Musheer Khan opening the innings went on to score a blazing 155 off just 65 balls as he smashed 17 fours and 10 sixes while stitching a record 224 run stand with senior partner Bhupen Lalwani who scored an equally impressive 84* off 49 balls. Bhupen who scored 588 runs for Mumbai in Ranji Trophy this season smashed 9 fours and 3 sixes showing his ability to switch gears in the limited format as well as both the players smashed bowlers all around the park.
PJ Hindu Gymkhana in reply managed to score 191/8 in 20 overs with Eknath Kerkar being the only half centurion smashing 91 runs. Rohan Raje, Deepak Shetty and Ajay Mishra bagged 2wkts each as Payyade Sports Club won the match by 58 runs.
