Mumbai’s Awais Khan fights it out with a gritty 67 vs Gujarat in BCCI Vinoo Mankad Trophy’24

Mumbai Cricket Association U19 Team opting to bat first in the all-important semi-finals managed to score 202/7 in 50 overs with opener Awais Khan and Hrishikesh Gore smashing half centuries. Awais who trains at Mumbai Cricket Club under Coach Jwala Singh showed solid technique and grit facing 116 deliveries in his knock of 67 runs which included 6 boundaries while wickets were tumbling from the other end. From Gujarat, Vasu D chipped in with 3 wkts each.

Gujarat Cricket Association in reply chased down the score in 43.5 overs winning the match by 7 wkts. Opener Rudra Patel scored 54 runs while Rudra P Patel (61*) and Vedant Trivedi (59*) remained unbeaten with their half centuries.
