Mehul Rathod (33 runs) and Ajit Bhinge (35 runs) steer DPL Shivneri Warriors to a win

DPL Shivneri Warriors after being put to bat first at Vision Cricket Academy Ground in Pune were not off to best of the starts with wickets of openers falling early. However, wicket-keeper batsman Mehul Rathod who came at no.3 brough the momentum back as he went on to score a brilliant 33* off 21 balls, an innings which included 5 fours and 1 six. Mehul also stitched a crucial partnership with no.5 bat Ajit Bhinge who scored 35 off 22 balls, an innings which also included 2 sixes.

DPL Raigad Lions in reply did manage to gave a tough fight but eventually fell short of just 2 runs in the deciding over of the match. Shubham Shingate (35 runs), Priyatosh Bhosale (24 runs) and skipper Prabhu Anjal (25 off 13) gave their best but eventually Shivneri Warriors got the upper hand winning the match by 2 runs. From the bowlers, Shamal Palod with 2/11 was the pick of the lot.
