MCC Santacruz after being put to bat first at Dilip Vengsarkar Ground in Mahul made a massive total of 235/1 in 35 overs. Opener and Captain Kaushal Kamathe set the tone with a solid 71* off 101 balls batting from start to end while Grupal Chawala who came at no.3 played the aggressors role smashing an aggressive century. Grupal scored an impressive 108* off 79 balls which included 16 boundaries to his name. Grupal and Kaushal also stitched an unbeaten 166 run stand for the 2nd wicket which took MCC Santacruz to a strong position.
