Wicket-Keeper batsman Harshil Rathi top scored with 73 runs off 135 balls which included 10 boundaries. From the bowlers, Kavya Gori with 4/40 in 18.5 overs was the pick of the lot.
Sachin Tendulkar XI in reply restricted Rohit Sharma XI to 187 all out in their 1st innings courtesy a brilliant spell by spin bowling all rounder Mann Bhanushali. Mann not only broke partnership of the openers who were looking well set but also provided timely breakthroughs in his spell of 4/25 in 10 overs which included 2 maidens.
Sachin Tendulkar XI fought back in 2nd innings posting 219 in 68.2 overs with opener Aditya Vishwakarma top scoring with 63 runs. Aryan Chauhan (37 runs) and Mann Bhanushali at the lower order with 28 off 58 balls also chipped in with crucial cameos.
Chasing 206 in 4th innings, Rohit Sharma XI were restricted to 204 runs in what turned out to be a thriller of a match. Sachin Tendulkar XI bowlers did an excellent job with Aarya Gaikwad (4wkts) and Kaushal Shirsat (3wkts) being the pick of the lot. Mann who took 4 wkts in first innings also bagged a wicket in 2nd innings making it 5 wkts in the match. Mann who has over 800+ wkts across all formats including 160+ MCA wkts is certainly working hard to make his place in the Mumbai team.
