Torna Tigers opting to bat first at Hazare Sports Club in Pune made a total of 120/8 in 20 overs. Even though it was a top order collapse but Tahir Shaikh (27 runs) and Ajit Bhinge (22* off 17 balls) at the lower order helped their team reach a total of 120. Their cameos at the lower order helped their team reach in 3 digits. Captain Yogesh Balwadkar led from the front taking 3/12 in 3 overs while Girish and Shantanu bagged 2 wkts each.

Panhala Panthers in reply could only manage 111/9 in 20 overs as Torna bowlers successfully defended a low total. Credit to Torna Tigers bowlers defending such a low total in a low pressure game.
