Mahir Ranavat from JBCN International School takes a fifer in 1st Round of Harris Shield’23

JBCN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL IN HARRIS SHIELD

Podar International School after being put to bat first at Cross Maidan made a total of 157/9 in 29.2 overs with wicket-keeper Jiyan Shah top scoring with 54 runs. From the bowlers, Mahir Ranavat impressed one and all as he returned with excellent bowling figures of 5/35 in 8 overs. Mahir was well supported by Stavya Goswami who bagged 4/30 in 10.2 overs.

JBCN International School in reply scored 146 runs batting for 30.1 overs with opener Prabir scoring 39 runs. It was a tough contest between both the teams who gave their best as Podar School won the match by 13 runs.

JBCN International School (Lower Parel) participating for the first time in the history has made an impressive start to the tournament giving a tough fight to Podar International School while also their players coming up with impactful performances under Peak Performance Coach Chetan Dhingra, Head Coach Ravishankar and Raviraj Shetty. All the coaches who themselves have rich experience in Cricket are bringing a positive turnaround in the Cricket Department of JBCN International School.
