Left-Arm Spinner Kshitij Metkari bags a 6wkt haul for Young Friends CC in E Division Kanga League’24

Played at Young Zoroastrian, Azad Maidan in Mumbai, Gaud Saraswat CC after being put to bat first were cleaned up for just 55 runs in 24.5 overs. Left-arm spinner Kshitij Metkari returned with match winning bowling performance coming up with a 6 wkt haul to dent Gaud Saraswat’s batting line up. Kshitij was quite effective and provided timely breakthroughs taking 6/21 while he was well supported by Ritam Gaekwad who took 4/12 as both the bowlers partnered and attacked in tandem.

Young Friends CC in reply scored 80/3 dec in 16.3 overs with Anup Fulper and Vinay Mishra chipping in with crucial 30’s. Gaud Saraswat CC batted for 14.3 overs in 2nd innings with scoreboard reading 30/0 before the end of the game’s play where Gaud Saraswat CC won the match on 1st innings lead.
