Left Arm Speedster Harsh Tanna – The Silent Contributor in Mumbai Cricket’s Marquee Tournaments

Harsh Tanna Cricketer

Harsh Tanna who burst onto the scene late has taken no time to make an impact for himself in the highly competitive Mumbai Cricket. The left arm speedster who first came onto the scene making his debut for Sobo Supersonics in T20 Mumbai in 2019 continued performing well across top division MCA and Corporate Tournaments.

The Season of 2022-23 has been nothing but a revelation for him as well as he was picked up in the Mumbai U25 team where he was amongst the impact bowlers for Mumbai team. Even though Mumbai team at any level is always packed with star studded players who provide massive individual performances, Harsh has been a silent contributor of sorts picking up 10 wkts in 7 matches with best bowling figures of 3/26 in 10 overs including 2 maidens vs Chhatisgarh.

Harsh displayed good discipline and bowled at good lengths in the U25 matches, a bowling display which was certainly noticed by the cricket pundits. Even in the recently held Police Shield, Harsh featured in Semifinals and finals for MIG where he was amongst the wicket takers taking 5 wkts in the all-important finals. Harsh looked in good shape scalping 3/54 & 2/38 in 16 overs vs Parsee Gymkhana playing his part in his team’s win as they became the Champions of the A Division Police Shield Tournament.

Harsh shared with Zoomcricket.in – It’s indeed a dream, an honor and pride to represent Mumbai, i am happy that i was able to chip in with wickets for Mumbai as well as for MIG in the finals. That’s indeed a great start to the year and i would like to thank all the coaches & people behind my hardwork. I am working hard on my game and hopefully i will play to my level best in the upcoming tournaments wherever i get opportunities”

With a good start to the Cricketing Season of 2023, here’s wishing the Youngster a great year ahead!
