Left-arm Pacer Yogesh Kare comes up with an impressive fifer in Sunny XI Senior One Day Trophy’21

Played at Brilliant Academy Pune, Virag Cricket Academy after opting to bat first were all out for 165 runs in 31 overs. Most of the batters found it difficult to convert their starts apart from Raviraj Patil scoring 53 runs at the middle order. From the bowlers, it was left-arm quick Yogesh Kare coming up with a brilliant bowling spell to restrict Virag C.A to a low total. Yogesh was spot on providing timely breakthroughs as he returned with excellent bowling figures of 5/65 in 10 overs.

Brilliant Sports Academy in reply were all out for 151 runs with opener Prajwal Ghodke’s 51 being the highest score. Raviraj Patil who scored a crucial half century was the game changer with the ball too taking 6/29 in 8 overs alongwith 1 maiden. Raviraj’s brilliant all-round performance ensured Virag C.A won the match by 15 runs while speedster Yogesh Kare’s excellent fifer went in vain.
