Kunal Gawand bags a fifer while Ronak Shinde smashes a hundred for Matunga Gymkhana in D Division Kanga League’24

Maskati Cricket Club batting first at Matunga Gymkhana Ground were all out for 102 runs with Saqib Mulani and Tanish Tuli chipping in with 30’s. The rest of the batters found it difficult to get going courtesy a match winning spell by Kunal Gawand. Kunal returned with exceptional bowling figures of 5/33 which made the life difficult for Maskati batters. Kunal provided breakthroughs at crucial intervals as he marked his presence with an impactful fifer.

Matunga Gymkhana in reply just lost one wicket scoring 168/1 before declaring their innings with Ronak Shinde scoring a brilliant century. Ronak scored 102 runs taking his team towards a commanding position. Maskati CC in 2nd innings were all out for 113 runs with Yogesh Dicholkar taking 4/58 and Nikhil Date bagging 3 wkts. Matunga Gymkhana were 46/3 at the end of the game’s play where they won the match on 1st innings lead.
