Kishan Shah smashes a Hundred in DYCA’s Multi Day Practice Match

DYCA Red opting to bat first at NL Complex Ground in Dahisar made a total of 256/all out in 55.3 overs in their 1st innings. DYCA Red who were almost off to a shaky start with their top and middle order batters getting starts but not being able to convert them into big ones got back into the game in no time thanks to a blinder of an innings by Kishan Shah. Kishan who came at no.9 impressed one and all as he scored a gutsy 104 off just 100 balls smashing 11 boundaries and 5 sixes. Kishan showed good composure and also displayed attacking cricket to help his team reach a respectable total on board. From the bowlers, Raj Singh with 4/16 in 10 overs including a maiden was the pick of the lot.

DYCA Green in reply made 181/11 with opener Swapnil Verma top scoring with 71 runs off 127 balls which included 12 boundaries and 2 sixes. From the bowlers, Aahil Sayed and Hridhaan Mistry bagged 3 wkts each.

DYCA Red in 2nd innings declared their innings after batting for 17 overs with scoreboard reading 105/5 giving DYCA Green a target of 176 runs. Kishan Shah again grabbed eyeballs this time showing his hitting abilities scoring a quick 33* off 12 balls smashing 5 fours and 2 sixes. DYCA Green in reply scored 99/6 in 13 overs before the end of the game’s play where DYCA Red won the match on 1st innings lead.
