Kesha Patel smashes unbeaten half-century at no.9 vs Punjab in Senior One Days Match

Kesha Patel – one of the most emerging all-rounders from Baroda continues to stamp her presence as a player to watchout for. Baroda after opting to bat first at Bindra Stadium in Mohali vs Punjab at one point looked in trouble with their top and middle order collapsing but it was Kesha who held fort from one end as she scored a fighting innings of 55* off 67 balls taking her team towards a respectable position. This not the first time, Kesha has come up with heroics down the order as she smashed 9 boundaries in her 80 min stay at the crease helping Baroda gain a lead of 165 runs.

In the practice match she played on 5th January, 2023 vs YSC Men’s Team, BCA Women’s team posted a total of 249 runs with half centuries from Karishma Tank and Kesha Patel. Kesha coming at no.7 scored an impressive 55 off just 53 balls wherein she smashed 8 boundaries and 1 six. YSC Men’s in reply were all out for 175 runs thanks to some disciplined bowling by BCA Women’s Team bowlers who helped their team snatch a commanding win over Boys by 74 runs.
