JBCN whitewashes Greenlawns High School in debut season of Giles Shield’23

JBCN International School (Lower Parel) after being put to bat first at Navroz, Azad Maidan made a total of 235/7 in 45 overs. Almost every batters of JBCN contributed with the bat with opener Siddarth (35 runs), captain Dhir Kadhi (38 runs) and Shrey Khandelwal (35 runs) being the top scorers.

Defending a total of 236, Greenlawns High School were cleaned up for just 94 runs in 17.4 overs courtesy a brilliant bowling performance by JBCN bowlers. Stavya Goswami led from the front as the pick of the bowlers as he took 3/22 in 5 overs while Vihaan S and Shivay Dalal bagged 2wkts each as JBCN won the match by 141 runs.

Credit also goes to the entire Coaching Team of JBCN as JBCN school has participated for the first time in the history in Giles Shield and are performing really well. Chetan Dhingra- Peak Performance Director, Head Coach Ravishankar Singh, Soli Karanjia, Raviraj Shetty and the whole team being the silent heroes for JBCN’s rise in cricket.
