Bank of Baroda opting to bat first on Parsee Gymkhana ground made a healthy total of 213/4 in 20 overs on board. Even though, they lost their openers early, it was wicket-keeper Chetan Bist (86*) and young left hander Jayy Jain turning the game around with impactful half centuries. Jayy played the finishers role in the death overs to perfection smashing as many as 7 sixes in his unbeaten knock of 72* which came in mere 35 deliveries at an envious strike rate of 205.71. Jayy has performed well consistently throughout the season and this knock was just a testament of his temperament and form with the bat.
Income Tax Sports and Recreation Club in reply could only manage 165/9 in their 20 overs with almost every batter giving starts but not able to convert it into a big score. From the bowlers, Kushang Patel with 4/29 in 4 overs was the pick of the lot as Bank of Baroda clinched a commanding win by 48 runs.
