Himanshu’s all-round show helps Qatar outclass Bahrain in Men’s Gulf T20 Championship’23

Qatar Team after being put to bat first at Asian Town Cricket Stadium made a total of 138/8 in 20 overs. Even though it was a shaky start but it was Mohammad Tanveer at the middle order top scoring with 40* off 31 balls. All-Rounder Himanshu who came in at no.7 also chipped in with a cameo of 23 runs as Qatar reached a defendable total on board.

Defending a total of 138, Qatar bowlers did an excellent job of restricting Bahrain to 104/7 winning the match by 19 runs through DLS Method. Most of the bowlers put up a good show with Himanshu Rathod and Mohammad Jabir being the pick of the lot bagging 2 wkts each. Mohammad took 2/26 in 4 overs while Himanshi bagged 2/27 in his spell of 4 overs making it a complete all-round show.

Himanshu for his all-round efforts of 23 at no.7 and 2/27 with the ball was also declared “Man of the Match”
