Himanshu Rathod’s all-round heroics steers Firefox Unit CC to a win in QCA T20 Pro League’23

Firefox Unit opting to bat first at MIC Mesaieed Sports Complex made a total of 140/6 in 20 overs. Even though they lost their top order wickets pretty early, it was Muhammad Waqas and star all-rounder Himanshu Rathod steadying the ship for Firefox Unit. Muhammad remained unbeaten on 46* off 41 balls while Himanshu scored 46 off mere 32 balls smashing 3 fours and 3 sixes taking his team towards a defendable total.

Titans in reply were cleaned up for just 35 runs courtesy some brilliant 4wkt hauls by Himanshu Rathod and Muhammad Jabir (4/11). Muhammad a National player himself got a wonderful hat-trick while Himanshu who recently made his National Team Debut for Qatar showed how quality an all-rounder he is first scoring a quick 46 then returning with bowling figures of 4wkts/1run in 2.3 overs including a maiden. In the 15 balls which Himanshu bowled, he bowled 14 dot balls which speaks about the current zone he is in!

Firefox Unit won the match by 105 runs and Himanshu Rathod was declared ‘Man of the Match”
