Hassan’s 82* and Iceman Himanshu’s death over heroics helps Firefox Unit clinch a win in QCA Pro Division – One Day League’24

Firefox Unit after being put to bat first at Asian Town Cricket Stadium in Qatar piled a total of 256/7 in 40 overs with half centuries registered by Abdul Ali (55 off 40 balls) and Hassan Talal (82* off 75 balls). Hassan at the middle order kept the scoreboard ticking ensuring his team Firefox Unit reached a healthy total on board.

Hurricanes in reply gave a tough fight and almost took the game away until it all summed it down to the last few death overs where Qatar bowlers got the upper hand. Himanshu Rathod who was the pick of the lot in the match with 2/51 in 8 overs bowled 20 dot balls in his 8 over spell including the final last over where he only conceded 5 runs successfully defending 15 runs helping Firefox Unit CC clinch a thriller of a win by 9 runs.
