Opener Omar Patni scored 48 runs while it was Harshvardhan Pandey who turned the game around with a thumping century. Harshvardhan went on to score a brilliant knock of 115 runs in 94 balls which included 15 boundaries and a six. Harsh also stitched crucial partnerships first with Omar Patni and then a 124 run stand for 3rd wicket with Prashant Patil. Prashant who came at no.4 scored a quick 47 off 38 balls missing out on a well deserved half century. Husain Shaikh at the middle order gave a crucial cameo spanking a quick 20 ball 40 in the death overs.
Times of India in reply were bundled out for just 90 runs courtesy a tight bowling performance by United Patni bowlers. All-Rounder Prashant Patil who scored 47 with the bat was the pick of the lot with the ball too as he took 4/18 in 7 overs including 1 maiden. Shubham Giri also bowled well taking 3/38 as United Patni won the match in commanding fashion by 196 runs.
