Harpreet’s unbeaten 57* guides Hoylandswaine CC to a win in Huddersfield Premier Cricket League’25

Shepley CC after being put to bat first made a total of 214 runs all out in 49.3 overs. T Sanders at the middle order scored a half century while rest of the batters chipped in with starts. From the bowlers, N Hussain was the pick of the lot returning with bowling figures of 5/23 in 3.3 overs.

Chasing 215, Hoylandswaine CC comfortably chased down the score in 38.5 overs thanks to solid half century by Harpreet Singh Bhatia. Coming at no.3 after a decent start laid down by the openers, the chase was laid in safe hands of Harpreet as he guided the innings with matured batting display. Harpreet scored 57* off 67 balls which included 7 boundaries and a six as rest of the batters chipped in with cameos batting around him as Hoylandswaine CC 1st XI won the match by 5 wkts.
