Harpreet Singh Bhatia – One of the most experienced top order batters in Indian Domestic Cricket and Captain of Chhattisgarh Cricket Team misses out on Central Zone selections amidst his back injury.

Harpreet who made a near-impossible comeback to IPL after almost 11 years scripted a fairytale for himself showing confident display of batting for Kings XI Punjab before he got injured midway during the series which made him miss out almost half of the entire IPL.

Harpreet who has over 10000+ Runs across all formats with an Average of 45+ in both Ranji and List A must have certainly felt the pinch missing out on crucial tournaments despite being a turnaround year for him.

Harpreet just underwent a lower back surgery recently and has been advised to rest. This is what he had to say:

“The great thing is despite the scenario, the Association is backing me for the upcoming season. It’s unfortunate to miss out on those two tournaments but my focus is on what’s next. I have already started working on my fitness and very soon I’ll start preparing for the upcoming Ranji Season”
