Harpreet Bhatia’s unbeaten Half Century steers Hoylandswaine CC to a 6wkt win in Huddersfield Premier Cricket League’25

Played at Kay Lane Cricket Ground, Almondbury Wesleyan CC opting to bat first were all out for 133 runs in 29.2 overs. Pragam Sharma at no.3 was the lone fighter scoring a half century while rest of the batters found it difficult to get going.  From the bowlers, Max Morley and Callum Honeyman with 3wkts a piece were the pick of the lot.

Chasing 134 looked like a mere formality for Hoylandswaine CC’s solid batting line up. Even though, they lost a few wickets but in form Harpreet took the chase in his hands and anchored the innings with an unbeaten half century. Harpreet Singh Bhatia who has already topped the run charts this season in UK scored yet another spending half century as he smashed 55* off 62 balls which included 7 boundaries and 2 sixes. Harpreet was well supported by Shahban (15*) as both the batters ended up the chase in 26.3 overs helping their team win the match by 4 wkts.
