Gagana Mulkala from Cricket Explained Academy gets selected for Mumbai U15 Women’s Team

In yet another exciting news, young and promising player Gagana Mulkala who practices at Cricket Explained Academy, Dombivli under Coach Hrishikesh Puranik has been selected to represent Mumbai U15 team in the upcoming All India BCCI tournament to be held at Pune.

Gagana is a leg spinner and a middle order batsman while she studies in Eva World School in Dombivli. She recently played two match winning innings (Semifinals in the selection matches. Crucial Knock of 49 in the semifinals and a match winning knock of unbeaten 47 runs in the finals. It was her solid performances under crunch situations which brought her into notice of relevant people from the cricket community.

Coach Hrishikesh Puranik shared with Zoomcricket.in – “She was picked in the team only as a spinner but she worked hard on her game during the off season. Her batting performance stood out in the selection matches. She is headed to play in Pune for the All India U15 BCCI tournament and we are really excited for her. She is a promising player and we shall keep working hard together to scale steps one by one in her cricketing journey”
