MV Rao CA opting to bat first at St. Demarc Cricket Ground II in Hyderabad, Telangana made a total of 205/9 in 20 overs. Openers Preethesh and Abdullah were the top scorers putting on 79 runs together. From the bowlers, Vaishanv with 3/18 was the pick of the lot.

Chasing 206, opener G Prem ensured taking game in his own hands as he batted from start to end anchoring a perfect chase. G Prem went on to score a gutsy match winning knock of 145* off 156 balls showing good amount of patience, resilience and shot making abilities. Even though wickets kept on tumbling from the other end, Prem smacked 24 boundaries in total not only bagging Man of the Match award but also helping his team Laxman XI win the match by 4 wkts.
