G Prem smashes an unbeaten half century in a winning cause for Oxford Blues in HCA B Division 2 Days League’23

Team Galaxy opting to bat first at PGR Cricket Ground in Hyderabad made a total of 289/10 in 65.4 overs with half centuries by Keerthi and Syed Ali. From the bowlers, Mudit and Jatin bagged 3 wkts each.

Chasing 290, Oxford Blues received a tough fight but chased it down successfully in 89.5 overs winning the match by 2 wkts. The Top 4 batters gave a solid start with 20’s and 40’s while it was G Prem at the middle order playing the finishers role. Coming at no.5, G Prem scored an unbeaten 55* off 121 balls. Prem showed amazing resistance showing survival instincts smashing only 1 boundary as he held fort from one end despite wickets tumbling from the other end to push his team to a 2 wkt win over Galaxy.
