Fresh Tropical Cricket Club batting first scored 189/10 in 19.4 overs. Zain Naqvi opening the innings set the base for his team smashing a brilliant half century. Zain scored an important innings of 65 runs off 40 balls which included 8 boundaries and 4 sixes stitching crucial stands with Amir Sharif and Irfan Shaikh while Imran M at middle order played a finisher’s role scoring quick half century. From the bowlers, Sameera M with 5/15 was the pick of the lot.
Defending a total of 189, FTCC received a tough fight from Milan United Cricket Club as their top order batters including their opener Thusara (43 runs) chipped in with crucial contributions to take the game close and almost take it away from FTCC. However, FTCC bowlers got the upper hand bowling brilliantly in death overs snatching away a win by just 1 run as MUCC were all out for 188 runs in 19.5 overs.
